SVG Accessibility
About a week ago, I decided that SVG was less accessible than Flash, neither are particularly accessible of course, but I held off on actually saying it in public, ‘cos it’s not really the done thing, but after some discussions on the svg-devlopers list I let the cat out the bag, it has not surprisingly got some peoples backs up.
So as suggested by Chris, I tried to address the deficiencies in my picture gallery and therefore make it more accessible. I’m pretty happy with the result, some longdescs are the only other things I think I really need, but they are time consuming to create.
