Yahoo’s filtering
Okay, so I’m reading codestore (no idea why, I don’t have anything to do with domino, but he does say some stuff about SVG.) and I found this new scientist report on yahoo’s filtering. It’s interesting that it creates new words, but what’s worrying is how simplistic the security is, they reportedly filter “eval” to “review”, which suggests that eval is a problem. There’s lots of ways to include malicious script, and I’d suggest you dump yahoo into a security zone where script is disabled until they can prove their filters are up to scratch.
